-Beginning Level Pianists
Supplies at each lesson:
-3X5 or 5X8 Little Assignment Notebook
-All Lessons Books
-All Supplemented Materials
About:
-Students learn basic keyboard and music theory skills as introduced in lessons and reinforced at home with a consistent practice routine. A leveled lesson book series is used to introduce material in sequential order based on student ability level. Supplemental song selection is encouraged.
Cost to get started in piano is one month of lessons & 3 piano lesson books. A month of lessons works well to see if the student & teacher combination is a good fit for successful learning. Books cost $10 each. Hold your lesson slot by lesson payment.

Private Lesson Payment Policy & Cancellations/Holidays
Paid monthly and one week in advance on the last week of the month at the flat rates listed above. This helps to ensure student attendance & courteous student cancellation notice. Cancellation notice is necessary to receive a make-up lesson. The make up lesson must occur within 2 weeks of the missed lesson. Friday afternoons are reserved for make up lessons. Lesson payment will not be credited to the next lesson month.
Teacher/Weather/Holiday Cancellations: There are no lessons when area public schools are closed for inclement weather or have early release for the same reason. Regular school holidays and no-school days may have lessons if planned in advance. Group classes will have a cancelled class day made up at the end of the session as an additional class. If the teacher needs to cancel a private lesson, a make up lesson will be offered on a Friday within two weeks. Lesson payments will not be credited to the next month.

Group Class Refund Policy: It is expected that students will attend all or most group classes in a session. Classes within a session build upon each other. Attending a class means being there on time with a pencil and any script, sheet music or materials that have been distributed. The teacher reserves the right to ask a student to withdraw from a session if it does not seem to be a good fit. Registration refunds are given prorated within the first two classes unless otherwise stated on the registration form or class description. After the second class, refunds are not given. This policy is followed unless otherwise stated on the registration form for the class.
Ensemble Participation & Refunds Policy: Being in an ensemble is like being a member of a team sport, therefore no more than two absences from weekly rehearsals are allowed in order to be eligible to participate in a performance. Attending a rehearsal means being there for the whole time, on time with a pencil and any script, sheet music or materials that have been distributed. The teacher reserves the right to ask a student to withdraw from a session if it does not seem to be a good fit. Ensemble tuition refunds are given prorated within the first two rehearsals unless otherwise stated on the registration form or class description. After the second rehearsal tuition refunds are not given. This policy is followed unless otherwise stated on the registration form for the class.
